Details about Industrial Hard Chrome/Chromium Plating

  • Hard chrome plating will give the surface 2-10 times more surface life than the original surface. It will eliminate galling and sticking on punches, molds and dies and can make mis-machined and worn parts salvagable.
  • Deposit thickness varies from .000050 to .050 of an inch.
  • Selective plating of the I.D. and/or the O.D. can be done on one or numerous parts.
  • Finishes include: Matte, Satin or Polished for Hard Chrome Plating on Steel, Hard Chrome Plating on Brass, Hard Chrome Plating on Stainless Steel, Hard Chrome Plating on Cast Iron or Hard Chrome Plating on Copper.
  • Hard Chrome Plating is excellent for mold release, wear and many other applications.
